Privacy Policy

1. In short
- We collect the minimum needed to run Typesol and nothing else.
- No analytics, no advertising, no tracking across sites, no profiling, no selling or renting of data.
- We never see or store private keys or recovery phrases.
2. Who is responsible
Typesol's operator is the controller of the data described here. Contact: eriks@solanabaltics.com.
3. What we collect and why
- Questions typed into the ask box: the question text, the time and the category it matched, stored for up to 90 days to improve the directory. They are never linked to an account, even if you are logged in.
- Accounts: the user ID that Privy, our login provider, gives you, and when you first logged in. Your email or wallet address stays with Privy; we read your wallet address from Privy when the workspace needs it (practice swaps, activity) and keep it for a few minutes. Our legal basis is performing the service you asked for.
- Workspace activity: the projects you save and the lessons you complete (a confirmed practice swap completes its lesson), tied to your account. Your activity page reads your devnet wallet's recent transactions from the network each time and stores nothing.
- Suggestions and reports: the text and links you submit and, if you give one, your email address so we can follow up. Kept until reviewed and then as part of the directory's history.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and request logs processed by Cloudflare to deliver the site and stop abuse, including Turnstile checks on forms, in Cloudflare's systems for a short time; our legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure service. We also count requests per IP address for about a minute to limit abuse.
4. What we do not collect
- Private keys, recovery phrases or any ability to move your funds.
- Analytics or advertising identifiers. We set no analytics or advertising cookies. Privy keeps your login session in your browser's local storage, and Cloudflare may store what it needs for its security checks.
- Browsing on other sites, device fingerprints or any profile of you.
- Payment details: Typesol is free.
5. Who processes data for us
- Privy (login and embedded wallets).
- Supabase (database, hosted in the European Union).
- Cloudflare (hosting, security, Turnstile).
- Helius (Solana RPC; sees the wallet addresses and transactions you ask about or send on devnet).
- Each acts under its own terms and only to provide its service; we do not give your data to anyone else except where the law requires.
6. How long we keep it
- Questions: up to 90 days.
- Account and workspace data: until you ask us to delete it.
- Submissions: kept as directory history, including any email address you gave, until you ask us to delete it.
- Technical logs: as set by Cloudflare, typically days.
7. Your rights
You can see your saved projects and completed lessons in the workspace and remove saved projects there. To delete your account and everything tied to it, or to correct anything, email eriks@solanabaltics.com. Depending on where you live you may also have rights to object, restrict processing, receive your data in a portable form and complain to your data protection authority. Questions typed without logging in cannot be traced to you, so we cannot retrieve or delete them for you.
8. Security
Data travels over HTTPS; access to the database is limited to the server. No system is perfectly secure, and you use Typesol at your own risk.
9. Children
Typesol is not directed at children under 16, and the workspace is for adults of 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect children's data.
10. Changes
We will update this policy when our practices change and change the date above.
